INSPIRATION

Alexandra Carlinwas inspired by the creations of Pierre Soulages to try to capture their essence. She imagined a perfume with no fixative, no background noise: a journey through various abstract and contrasting facets expressing black in its infinite luminosity.

The result: an eau de cuir that defies definition. An overdose of pepper, styrax, fucus, and cade dotted with blackcurrant buds: a dark colour palette to capture every intense layer of black. The shine of black ink, evoking dark mercury and the dullness of cooling lava.
